It's easy to write a 5-star review when everything goes perfectly. Giving a 5-star review when there's a challenge? That's a good company, and that's where I'm at.
In general, every person I've talked to or had out has been kind, courteous, knowledgable and really stepped up. For example, my air return wasn't installed quite right (tract homes), and the tech went and reworked the sheet metal and fixed a problem that was not even theirs. Just free of charge, just pride in work stuff.
Then we all learned that the builder didn't tighten the wires into the control board, so the cleaning vibrated it out and my heat pump went offline. Same time, a burning dust smell in a bathroom kind of lingered (builder left vents open/running during construction.) This time, the head dude himself comes out, they hook it all up, re-clean the entire system for good measure, and my price? Zero. They just did it.
I'll say too, I'm not an HVAC guy but I've worked around construction enough to know when people care, and I'm telling you, these guys are the people you want working on your house.

Should’ve done this sooner! Our dryer wasn’t working nearly as efficiently as it used to. We called them to see how soon they can stop by to clean the exhaust vent. They were able to come by on the nest business day (called Friday, saw them Monday). I wasn’t sure where our vent was located so they charged the higher price up front (in case it was on the roof) then when they realized it was ground level they refunded the difference! Lucas B. and Daishaun N. were the 2 technicians to do the work and I love that in my invoice it shows the photos they took and the sensor they use to show how much more air can now freely flow through. I didn’t know this was a maintenance thing! I’ll make sure to do this yearly now so this type of blockage won’t happen again. Thanks guys!

Very happy with the whole experience. I had the house vent and duck cleaning. They showed up on time and did a great job! They never tried to sell me additional services I probably did not need. I appreciate any company where they have that kind of integrity.

I give them a 5-star--with some reservations.
First, the good: Both Dominick and Quentin, the techs, were great. Very polite and thorough. And Adam, the owner, was very nice and quickly addressed my concerns when the work I expected wasn't done during the first visit.
Now, the not-great: I initially called for professional dryer vent cleaning when I saw lint build-up beyond my lint filter and couldn't reach it with my vacuum. But I quickly learned from the first tech that cleaning from the dryer's lint filter to the wall isn't included in their service. For an industry whose entire existence is based on the threat of dryer lint building up and causing a fire, it's weird to me that this business only addresses PART of the threat. When I spoke with the owner about this, to his credit, he eventually agreed to send a second tech out to provide that service at no extra charge.
The other bad is not that it took 4 business days to get this resolved, as I think that's a pretty reasonable timeframe. No, it's the fact that I've received 3 texts and 1 email since the 1st visit begging for a review. I don't need to be hounded daily (esp before the work is complete) to provide a review. And I don't need to be told that the techs' bonuses depend on getting a five-star review.
In the end, the work was performed well and the price seemed reasonable. But the bumps along the way were annoying.

Brett with Capital Duct Cleaning installed a 4-in filter box on our furnace. I had an excellent experience with Capitol Duct Cleaning! Larry and Q were fantastic—professional, friendly, and extremely thorough. They took the time to explain everything they were doing, showed me before-and-after photos, and made sure the entire system was cleaned perfectly. You can tell they take pride in their work. My home already feels fresher, and the airflow is noticeably better.

Every single person I spoke to from Capitol Duct Cleaning was fantastic. The person I talked to on the phone to schedule was very nice and encouraging and the technicians (Ross, Quintin and Larry) that came out were very helpful especially considering we didn't know much about the history of our house regarding duct work. They were able to get everything cleared out and cleaned out quickly and were very kind and personable while doing so!

Russ was on time and went to work! We had never had our air ducts cleaned previously. Based on the dirt built up in the blower motor we just had cleaned, it seemed logical to have the ducts cleaned as well. I was somewhat skeptical of the need to have it done but was pleasantly surprised by all the grime in the return air ducts. Not cheap but they did an A+ job!

I would highly recommend this duct cleaning company! I truly appreciate the technician, Quintin, who came to my home—he did an outstanding job. From the moment he arrived, I could tell he was very professional. He wore shoe covers and brought high-quality, efficient equipment that provided a deep and thorough air duct cleaning. He also shared helpful knowledge and before-and-after pictures with me, which I really appreciated.
I also want to thank the front desk team, especially Amy and her co-worker. Because of my kids’ school event, they went out of their way to accommodate my schedule. I can’t thank them enough for their flexibility and kindness.
